My Coupon Hunter

PhotobucketI recently used another coupon clipping service, My Coupon Hunter, and wanted to share it with you guys. Virgina, the owner, is super sweet and helpful. She had some great $1/1 Smithfield bacon coupons I REALLY wanted, plus a few more. You know I wouldn’t refer you guys to someone I hadn’t used and couldn’t vouch for myself. She gets several different regions’ coupons.

Some of you may already know that Crystal at Coupon Beat is my buddy.  I was helping her out one day and she told me about Virginia and My Coupon Hunter.  Even though she owns a coupon clipping site herself, Crystal recommends using a couple different sites.  Because the nature of coupons being regional and different means you need varying sources to find the best coupons for products you need.  So, if you need some cut coupons, check out her My Coupon Hunter.

What are some other coupon clipping sites you guys use?

The Talent Behind the New, Fresh Face

For those of you who have been reading my blog pre-Apple period, you know just how far we have come in this virtual world.  I have to tell you, I am completely ignorant, by my own standards, when it comes to ‘blogging’ in terms of the professional blogger.  I have been blessed with a few very talented and supportive people along my journey that have helped to make me look really good.  And one of those people is Joy at Five J’s.

Since I met Joy online I have learned how to:

1.  Do almost any plug in work on my site imaginable;

2.  Master widgets;

3.  Create drop down tool bars;

4.  Adjust picture ratios to fit my Genesis Slider window;

5.  ‘Speak’ blogger;

6.  Create my own custom Twitter background;

7.  And create a contact page for my blog.

Joy’s life philosophy is that everyone should be a lifelong learner.  Her motto is, “Give a man a fish, he eats for a day.  Teach a man to fish, he eats for life.”  I can attest that she walks the walk with this, my friends.  More than once through this process she gave me links that were my ‘homework’ related to what we were working on with the blog makeover.  And her lessons never failed at making me a better/smarter blogger.

I am positive the email I sent her for a project request was no less than 1,000 words going on and on about my ideas, who I was, what I wanted to blog about and how my new site makeover would have to be blah, blah, blah…..  I am humbled by her agreeing to help me!  No matter how long winded, ignorant or needy I may have seemed, she still managed to compliment, support, encourage and lift me up to a higher level within myself through this process.

But you haven’t heard the best part yet.  She is a homeschooling mom, too!  If you have been thinking about homeschooling, or are a homeschooler and need resources, ideas, printables, organization, and/or ideas for enrichment activities, you should definitely check out her site.  My favorite section happens to be the homeschool for free area!  And she recently added T-shirt designer to her list of talents.

I am beyond grateful for Joy’s expertise and willingness to teach people as she works.  I have no doubt her generosity will come around more than 100 fold throughout her life.  She is now and forevermore my Myagi Blog Design Master…

Who has taught you the most about blogging, using the internet,

social media and/or technology

throughout the past few years of exponential digital growth?

Coupon Beat Coupon Clipping Services

For all my coupon clipping needs for my multiple purchases I use Coupon BeatCrystal, the owner, is wonderful to work with.  It’s always quick and easy to use her services.  She has helped me get hundreds of cans for my stockpile of free canned veggies over the past several months.  And personally we have become friends, too, and she and I are working on the Bargain Blessings Food Pantry project as well to give back to those in need.  She has THE cheapest prices for coupon clipping services I have found and is more reliable than someone on eBay.  Trust me, I have been burned twice on eBay both times I tried to buy from someone!  She usually has codes you can use for discounts when she is having specials as well.  So check out her site and see if she can’t help you stock your pantry like she has mine!

PLUS….she recently opened a coupon auction site, Coupon Beat Auctions, that allows you to auction off any unused coupons you have to the highest bidder!  Head on over to both her Facebook pages here and here, then tell her I sent you!

Have you ever ordered from a coupon clipping service before?
